Citlalli Vergara

Citlalli graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Cell and Developmental Biology. She also minored in Ethnic Studies. During her time as an undergraduate she worked on several projects analyzing the role of Kir7.1 in various tissues such as the uterus, placenta, and eye. Since moving to WashU, she has continued her work on Kir7.1 in the placenta and has taken on the role of lab manager. She enjoys taking walks through Forest Park and getting her favorite ice cream at Clementine’s Creamery.
