Lenka Vyklicka

Postdoctoral Fellow

Lenka comes from a small picturesque village in the south of Czechia. She graduated from Biochemistry at Charles University and got her Ph.D. degree in Physiology at the Institute of Physiology CAS in Prague. Her long-term research interests include a comprehensive understanding of the function of ion channels, such as TRP and sperm-specific potassium channels. Lenka’s academic training and research experience have provided her with an excellent background in molecular biology, biochemistry, and patch-clamp electrophysiology. She spends her free time mostly traveling, skiing, hiking, practicing yoga, or chatting with friends.

Lenka is investigating ion channels of the sperm cell. You can read her individual project description here.
